I have been a photographer for much of my life and owned a professional photography business in the Elk Valley in British Columbia some years ago. Back then my photography was mostly industrial with the local coal mines but some school, wedding and portrait phoptography was also part of the mix. We had a fully equipped lab and were able to develop film as well as print and frame photos up to 30 x 40 inches in size.

I waited for quite a few years before making the jump to digital but it has been an incredible experience. The possibilities that a photographer can take advantage of with the advanced cameras and software available nowadays are truly amazing ... this from someone who used to do these things the old fashioned (read: hard) way.

When I discovered SmugMug I had the perfect vehice to display and sell my photography from online galleries. In these galleries you will find photos of a variety of subjects such as oil & gas, mining, construction, transportation, architecture, agriculture as well as scenic, panorama, wildlife, flowers, city scapes and all things interesting.
